    The "Good Uncle Scholarship"    

The Southwest Idaho Juvenile Detention Center is happy to announce the "Good Uncle" scholarship. This scholarship is a privately funded scholarship open to all juveniles from the Third Judicial District counties of (Canyon, Gem, Owyhee, Payette and Washington) that have been admitted to the Center at some point in their life, and are planning to attend a post-secondary school (4 year, 2 year or professional/trade).

This scholarship is strongly based on financial need. Test scores, GPA and Class Ranking will be considered, as well as personal achievements and community/extra curricular involvement.

All applications will be kept confidential.

Deadline for this year is May 10, 2008.
