The Canyon County Historic Preservation Commission will hold its next meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 11 at 6:30 p.m. at Lake Lowell Park.  


Your weekly advisory from the Canyon County Parks & Rec Department regarding things like wildfire danger updates, weather advisories, park closures and upcoming events. 


In-person early voting is available at the Canyon County Elections Office beginning Monday, August 3 for the August 25 Election.


Celebration Park is the new home to a very special stone - one whose importance as a prehistoric legacy was only recently discovered. 


Canyon County's Mental Health Court and Veterans Court Coordinator, Dona Butler, was recently recognized by Governor C.L. "Butch" Otter for her service to the Idaho Council on Developmental Disabilities.


Lt. Ben Keyes of the Canyon County Sheriff's Office has been named the Idaho Marine Officer of the Year by the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation.


The Canyon County Fleet Department has been named as one of “The 100 Best Fleets in the Americas” by American City & County Magazine.


The Canyon County Sheriff's Office has partnered with the Nampa Family Justice Center, Advocates Against Family Violence, and numerous other local law enforcement agencies to launch the Start by Believing campaign in Canyon County.  The public awareness campaign is designed to improve the public response to sexual assault.
