The Canyon County Historic Preservation Commission will hold meeting number 17 on Tuesday,May 13 at Lake Lowell Park.


In-person early voting is currently available at the Canyon County Elections Office for the May 20 Primary Election.


Some landfill fees will be waived for residents during the Countywide spring clean-up day on Saturday, April 26.


The Southwest Idaho Juvenile Detention Center was recently awarded a $500 “Just Add Water” grant from the Boise Urban School Garden to assist with their Pat Andersen School Garden Project.


The Canyon County Board of Commissioners is currently seeking applications for the position of Chief Public Defender.  


The Canyon County Board of County Commissioners delivered their 2014 State of the County Address to a packed crowd at the Nampa Chamber of Commerce Luncheon on March 12.  


The Canyon County Board of Commissioners is proud to announce that the Southwest Idaho Juvenile Detention Center in Caldwell is the first incarceration facility of any kind in the United States to be certified as being compliant with the standards of the Federal Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA).


Canyon County is currently asking for nominations of historic artifacts that will be used in a public display in the entryway of the new Administration Building, which is scheduled to open this summer.
