The Canyon County Courthouse, DMV, and Administration Building will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 27 for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Most County offices and departments, including the DMV, will also be closed the following day - Friday, Nov. 28.

From time to time, the County’s DMV and Driver License Unit is forced to temporarily close down due to technical issues with the Idaho Department of Transportation’s computer system. This most recently occurred on Friday, Nov. 14 at approximately 3:30 p.m., forcing the DMV to close for the remainder of the day. Even though this issue is completely out of our control and caused by ITD’s computer system, we want to apologize for any future inconveniences this may cause.
